Emily Rued is a producer, actor, writer, and the founder of Nimby Pictures. She began producing in 2014 with the web series MAGGIE, a heartfelt and quirky story about a girl whose best friend is a ghost named Adam, with whom she falls in love. Over three seasons, Emily brought MAGGIE to life on a shoestring budget, relying on her creativity and the generosity of her acting class friends. After MAGGIE, Emily expanded her portfolio, writing, producing, and acting in a series of short films. Her first feature, GOOD GRIEF, a poignant dramedy inspired by her experiences following her mother's death, is currently being submitted to festivals. Emily's second feature, CLICK LIKE TO DIE. a horror-comedy, is in pre-production and set to film in Portland, Oregon, in 2025. She is also developing several other projects, including an action-comedy she is executive producing, with Danny Trejo attached. Through Nimby Pictures, Emily continues to champion bold, character-driven stores that blend humor, heart, and unexpected twists.
